This portable Gateway MX6128 laptop notebook is the taste of so many people, when it comes to Gateway laptops.
Actually, this laptop has some fascinating features, although people who have used Gateway, complains of too bad customer service when your laptop develops a fault. They may sound nice when you want to purchase, but as soon as it gets bad, trust me, they change, and become negligent, and aggresive with customers. I have had quite a number of friends who have been in a similar situation, whereby they need Gateway to help them replace a particular hardware, or accessories, but they don’t respond to such requests. Anyway, after buying your Gateway MX6128 laptop, just pray that no fault develops, but can that really happen?
Some of its wonderful features includes is Intel Celeron M (1.5 GHz) processor, which is a fast speed processor, and its RAM of 256 MB DDR II SDRAM. It is quite low, but good enough for students who just needs it to communicate with friends, and do school home work. It also possesses a 60 GB hard disk drive, which is good enough for students to keep their multimedia files, home work, and also use it for watching DVD movies.
The Gateway MX6128 laptop comes as a light weight laptop notebook of about 6.2 lbs. This is way too ok for you to transport by just putting it into your school bag. Amazinly, you will also enjoy its 15.4 TFT active matrix display screen. It really looks nice when it is viewed from a distance.
However, those disappointing effects are not so much. When the laptop is viewed from a close range, it usually affects the sight. It happened to me for some time, until i realized it was the screen display, but don’t worry, you will get used to it.
So many multimedia, and entertainment features are not included, so you might want to take a look at another laptop notebook around the store. Features that are not good enough includes its low RAM size, and its low hard disk drive space. It make this laptop useless for an average worker who wants to do a lot of programming, coupled with wanting some security features.
But apart from all these, i think i can purchase this laptop for my 8 years old sister, so she can play a few hands on it, as she grows up.

Oh my God, this Gateway MX6920 laptop is not a laptop notebook for the babies. This comes out with many features more than the ones mentioned earlier in this list. It is feature-rich, and it has all the qualities of a business users. Most business users will go for laptop computers that has a strong, and fast processor.
This Gateway MX6920 laptop has an Intel Core Duo (1.6 GHz) processor, which is one of the best processor of laptop computers model. Also featured is 1 GB DDR II SDRAM, also one of the best, and good RAM quality. Possessing a hard disk drive space of 120GB makes it a preferred laptop computers for many laptop notebook users.
Of course, this is not a heavy laptop. It comes out in this features-rich fashion, coupled with an outstanding weight for all users. Its weight is about 6.4 lbs. All these features will make no sense without its 15.4 inch TFT active matrix display screen. This screen has a resolution that is very high.
It also features many multimedia features such as a memory card reader, a WLAN network connections, and others. Infact, this is most preferred than other laptops notebook. However, some complains i have gotten from other users of Gateway MX6920 has said that whenever it has a fault, there is nobody to put it right. It is also not designed for a long time use, so what is the essence of making a laptop. It really gets annoying when you stay for 6 months and there is no laptop notebook for your use, after sending it for repairs.
What is really wrong with the customer service of Gateway. They have a good job of producing a good laptop computer with a nice quality, and they fall flat when it comes to public relations. They really need to improve their service and how many people will come back to Gateway.
Anyway, this laptop is good, and it operates using a Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. You will be please that you bought a Gateway laptop, after you stat using it. Its features are such that gets users to lve it. Such features includes an inbuilt Bluetooth, and WLAN for on-the-move users. This is actually convenient also considering the size. So if you are planning of buying a Gateway laptop notebook, then i think you have found a suitable model that will meet up to your multimedia, and work requirements.
Toshiba Libretto U100 Laptop Review
The Toshiba Libretto U100 is one of the smallest laptop notebook i have layed my hands on. With its wonderful specifications, you will find it irresistible. You probably will have to purchase yours. When i first bought mine, i had all it takes in my laptop notebook. It weighs about 2.16 pounds, so i feel so comfortable whenever i have it on me. It is quite light, and it should be carried with care. One thing about light laptop computers are that you think they are light, and you carry them carelessly, which in turn result in some damages. A lot of care should be given to it.
Using a 1.20 GHz Intel Pentium M processor, with a RAM size of 512 MB runnng on 333MHz, you will find out that it is good enough. It is fast enough for me to get my assignment done in good time. Although, i know that there are better ones running at an incredible fast rate, but i am content with its speed, in as much as it doesn’t develop a fault. I have actually used it for 1 year, and 8 months, and it is still functioning so well. Also having a hard disk drive space of 60 GB, i am pretty sure i have enough space to keep my multimedia files, music, movies, photos, and finished assignments. Although, not the best too, but i am content.
You can be sure that there are other features. I want to tell you about its network connectivity features. Having a 10/100 Ethernet, with a Wireless PCI card of 802.11b/g, LAN and modem ports. You will find out that if you choose to go wireless, you got it, and if you decide to go wired, then all you need is yours.
It also some features such as a docking connector, USB ports, and an RGB mini connector. All these are just to let you know that this laptop notebook is a complete one.
Going down it is 7.2-inch widescreen display, you will find out it is all you ever dreamed of. With a resolution of 1,280 x 768, you will get a brightness that is equal to its capacity. Toshiba Libretto U100 has been designed for your best laptop computer choice, so take it.
It also did not leave out its security features, such as finerprint reader, and verification technology. With this you will truely believe that this Toshiba Libretto U100 is one good laptop notebook that is a real time award winner.
